The starting point of the sponsorship and development co-operation of All Our Children is to give the possibility for the local partners to help, because they have the expertise and knowledge of the situation and the conditions of the country of destination. The results of the work, however, are dependent on foreign aid and contributions.

All Our Children has operated in development co-operation in Bolivia since the beginning of the 1990s. We have supported the work of the organization Defense for Children International in its work for the rights of children and youth. The objective of our project, which will run from 2015 to 2017, is to take children and youth better into account in the construction of educational and neighbourhood communities in the municipality of Oruro in Bolivia.

All Our Children also has sponsorship programs in Colombia and India. Our sponsors always support the whole group of children. Only a small percentage of the sponsorship fees(in 2016, approx. 4%) is used for administrative costs. Sponsors regularly receive a sponsorship letter which gives news about the destination of sponsorship, the group of children being sponsored, and the country of which the sponsorship has been directed.

Sponsors for Colombia support the pre-school educational project set by the Por Una Sonrisa organization, which affords children from the slums of Bogota to have the opportunity for a pre-school education. In India, sponsors support the health program of the Children’s Garden School Society in Chennai, south India. All Our Children follows the ethics and rules set by and developed in cooperation with Finnish organizations of sponsorship.
